Typist - part-time
Bouygues Energies & Services Solutions - Lewisham
Bouygues Energies & Services currently has an exciting opportunity for a Typist to join our Facilities Management team on our Metropolitan police contract based at Lewisham Police Station. This is a permanent part-time position working 16 hours per week, 8 hour shifts between 7am to 5pm, days flexible.
The role:
- To provide support on the contract by producing typed summaries of taped interviews, transcripts, and typing witness/victim statements.
- To work as part of the overall typing team covering across the contract, where necessary
- Provide general administrative support, as required
- To assist with the preparation of reports and documents
- To ensure delivery of consistently high standards of customer service
- Working hours are 16 per week – 8 hour shifts between 7am to 5pm, any 2 days between Monday to Friday
The person:
- Speed and accuracy is essential
- Minimum typing speed of 60 wpm and educated to GCSE Level or Equivalent
- Excellent computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Word
- Attention to detail
- Excellent proof-reading skills
- Well organised and able to prioritise a busy workload
- A can do attitude
- Successful applicants will be subject to Metropolitan Police security vetting
