We at Bouygues are looking for a Trainee Stores Person in the Kent area. 
Bouygues Energies & Services provide a comprehensive range of infrastructure solutions within the urban and inter-urban environment. We work across street lighting, smart city and smart motorway transport solutions.
This includes Highway Lighting, CCTV, EV charge points, Wi-Fi systems, Energy Connections and more.

By providing innovative technology offerings, we can help clients re-engineer the DNA of cities and the surrounding infrastructure network, delivering effective and efficient services

Main Job Responsibilities:

  • Unloading, checking and identification of materials to Quality Systems.  
  • Ensure correct storage of materials to manufacturers’ specifications.
  • Issue materials to crews and assist with loading onto vehicles.
  • Book in returns from crews.
  • Control of waste management including used lamps and other materials, packaging etc.
  • Keep stores and yard areas clean, tidy & Safe.
  • Management of Tools & Plant (Inc. Calibration)

Skills required:

  • Fork-lift truck licence (training given)
  • Good working knowledge of stores procedures (training given)
  • Understanding of health and safety procedures applicable to stores including waste disposal and environmental matters (training given)
  • Physically fit
