Street Lighting Maintenance Electrician

The role:

• Carry out electrical maintenance duties – replace, repair and maintain all lighting assets
• Diagnose and repair fault of equipment and networks
• Test and inspect electrical installation
• Accurately complete all associated paperwork and electronic forms
• Ensure company vehicles and plant are maintained in good working order and are clean and tidy
• Ensure that all works are adequately protected and the safety of the workforce, public and vehicles are maintained at all times
• To adhere fully to Health & Safety responsibilities 
• To be available for unsociable hours callouts (two weeks per month)

The person:

• City & Guilds 17th edition qualification and previous street lighting experience is essential
• IPAF certificate
• G39 ticket
• Able to work on own initiative as well as within a team with a proactive, flexible, can-do attitude
• Must have full UK driving licence
