Bouygues Energies & Services is recruiting a Strategy Analyst – Graduate to join their Business Development team based in based in Didsbury, Manchester.
Working as part of a small team the Strategy Analyst – Graduate will support the team around strategy development and implementation. The Strategy Analyst - Graduate will perform research and analysis, providing data on relevant sectors and providing support with the creation and management of dashboards and analytics in the company’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
The Role
- Conduct literature review and compile, organise and manage qualitative and quantitative data.
- Analyse the size and growth potential of new and existing markets.
- Assist in the preparation and updating of sector and geographic profiles and hotspots.
- Analyse relevant reports and provide information and statistics to report on key issues in the support and development of market strategies.
- Support business case development for new strategic solutions and work with key internal stakeholders in this development.
- Perform routine competitive analysis and performance breakdowns of companies within our industry.
- Assist in preparation of monthly and quarterly business briefings on market and the competitive business landscape.
- The development of and maintenance of dashboards and sales reports.
The Person:
Essential Criteria
- Possess exceptional attention to detail and analysis skills.
- The ability to turn complex data into useful information and business insights.
- Strong analytical and research capabilities with experience of using spreadsheets and the management, organisation and presentation of data.
- The ability to communicate findings confidently and effectively to decision makers, both verbally and in writing.
- Initiative to learn and recommend new research methodologies, tools and techniques.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with team members, and senior manager to execute on company strategy initiatives.
- Degree in related subject e.g Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Business Analytics or equivalent.
