Bouygues Energies & Services currently has an exciting opportunity for a Soft Services Facilities Manage (mobile) to join our Facilities Management team covering our client’s key sites across the Greater Manchester area. This is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm.

 

The role:

  • Reporting to the Contract Manager
  • Support the delivery of excellent customer service
  • To manage a team of cleaning staff across multiple sites including sub-contracted services
  • To liaise with the client and when necessary to maintain a professional relationship and service
  • Support the Hard FM Manager to ensure contractual compliance is met
  • Attend performance / service review meetings as required for the contract
  • Support successful delivery of approved variations regarding new works / changes
  • Review all facilities management in terms of cleaning standards, waste management, pest control to ensure KPIs are met
  • Identify and implement effective cost savings through improved performance standards and processes
  • Ensure compliance is in line with COSHH and risk assessment records are up to date
  • Working 40 hours per week, from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday with 1 hour unpaid lunch

 

The person:

  • Proven operational management experience within a soft services function across multiple sites
  • Knowledge of Maximo database or similar CAFM system an advantage
  • Experience of managing a large team and sub-contractors
  • Experience in management of budgets
  • Legionella awareness
  • Must have good IT skills (able to use Microsoft Office and management systems)
  • Experience of production and maintenance of reporting
  • Well organised and able to prioritise workload
  • Previous experience of working on a PFI contract an advantage
  • Will require full driving licence as this is a multi-site role
  • Requirement to achieve and retain relevant vetting clearance required by the client
