Bouygues Energies & Services are seeking to appoint a Senior Project Manager – Mechanical, to support our growing Data Centre business.
We are committed to providing cutting edge solutions for our clients Data Centre facilities and are recruitment a Senior Project Manager – Mechanical to join our innovative team initially based in Stockley Park, West Drayton. The Senior Project Manager – Mechanical will be responsible for managing the team and the mechanical aspects of large projects from inception to completion, within set timescales, to high quality standards and within health and safety guidelines.
The Role
• Manage a team to ensure work is carried out in full conformance with quality, environmental and safety standards.
• Be an expert and provide guidance and direction to ensure operational excellence.
• Coordinate and control the on-site construction process ensuring the site build progresses in line with plan.
• Develop and agree electrical submission and approval process with the client and design team.
• Support the overall programming and planning of the build.
• Attend site meetings, effectively communicate and provide information for Progress Reports.
• Chair and minute the subcontractor meetings.
• Recording and reporting key metrics to team members and management.
• Operational support including review of procedures, best practices and initiatives.
The Person
Essential Criteria
• Experience working with a main contractor or large subcontractor.
• Proven people management experience of managing teams.
• Have the ability to mentor and develop team members.
• Proven technical knowledge of Mechanical Services.
• Knowledge and skills to effectively problem solve.
• Be self-motivated, with proven organisational ability and the drive to meet deadlines.
• Customer focused with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Attention to Health and Safety matters.
• Commercially astute.
• Experience in the data centres sector.
• Degree of equivalent in an Mechanical discipline.
