Senior Planner - P6 or ASTA

Due to growth Bouygues requires an experienced Senior Planner. You will be based at our central London office with the pre-con team to start with and then move to production as the project commences. From then you will be site based.

Job Purpose and Scope:

You will be responsible for establishing, maintaining and operating a planning system in accordance with the planning procedures, providing a consistently high level of service.

Essential:

• Significant planning experience of construction projects across a broad range of sectors i.e. Healthcare, Education, Commercial
• Hands-on planning mindset with determination and passion for adding value to the project objectives
• Ability to manage multiple project programmes running in parallel
• Demonstrate knowledge of all aspects of development; design, procurement, construction (structure, architecture, services),  commissioning
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to quickly and clearly articulate key issues and to listen and capture concerns of others
• Detailed knowledge of the key features of common forms of contract entered in UK
• NEC experience
• Proven experience in P6 or ASTA (as long as willing to learn/use p6)

General Duties:

• Promote and have awareness of the strategic aims and goals of the Company when carrying out your day-to-day duties and responsibilities
• Maintain regular contact with Senior Management
• Working as part of project team, but with dual role as independent assessor of progress
• Capture of output rates and lost time to ensure company database remains current and competitive
• Liaison with broader planning community
• Ensuring compliance with all current BYUK Quality, Safety and Environmental requirements
• Line Management of less senior planners
