Senior Operations Manager (Hard FM)

Bouygues Energies & Services currently has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Operations Manager (Hard FM) to join our Facilities Management team based on our PFI hospital contract at Southmead Hospital in Bristol. This is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday.
The role:
- To facilitate Hard FM activities with responsibility for the functional, technical and management aspects of the FM contract.
- To be responsible for all operational staff, budgets and performance of sub-contractors within this work stream.
- To maintain a close liaison with the Client FM Function to ensure day to day requirements of delivering the FM contract are met.
- To be responsible for contractual performance in accordance with agreed budgets and compliance with the Service Level Standards whilst continually enforcing cost efficiencies, maximizing value received.
- Working 40hrs per week, Monday to Friday with a one hour unpaid break
The person:
- Degree qualified Engineer in a Building Services, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
- In depth experience of Health Care building services maintenance, including experience of working in technical engineering environments.
- Holding Authorised Person status in one or more HTM disciplines would be a distinct advantage
- Will have significant experience gained in a building services environment
- Must have experience of supervising / managing staff
- Will have excellent IT skills, and strong commitment to health and safety
- Will be able to demonstrate sound financial acumen and interpret financial accounts
- Able to demonstrate strong communication and client relationship skills
