Bouygues Energies & Services currently has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Maintenance Technician - Mobile to join our Facilities Management team covering a number of different sites in the North West area. The role will be based in Warrington and is a full-time mobile position working 40 hours p/week from 8am-5pm, Mon to Fri.

 

The role:

  • Reporting to the Operations Manager
  • To undertake engineering building services installation, repairs and maintenance for premises
  • Maintain and repair electrical and mechanical services plant and equipment
  • Working alongside trade staff and contractors and other functions as necessary
  • Responsible for planned and reactive maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems as per skillset
  • Respond to plant breakdowns
  • To carry out new electrical, mechanical and general remedial maintenance works as required i.e. new works, refurbishment and work associated with the life cycle maintenance programme
  • To comply with statutory testing and inspection legislation (BS 7671)
  • To carry out training to become an authorised or competent person for electrical or mechanical systems
  • Escorting of sub-contractors and non-cleared staff around site
  • Working 40 hours per week from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday with participation in the on call rota

 

The person:

  • Must hold a recognised electrical or mechanical trade apprenticeship and/or relevant qualifications to level 3 (theory and practice) in a relevant electrical or mechanical discipline with suitable industry experience
  • Experience of working on a multi-site estate
  • Hold a full driving licence as company van will be provided to travel between sites
  • Experience of using a PDA as all work is processed electronically
  • Proven ability of working on own initiative and hold good time management & delegation skills
  • Flexible can-do approach to work, with experience of working in a customer focused environment
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written essential
  • Employment in this post is dependent upon obtaining security clearance; this requires 3 years’ residency in the UK and a valid passport.
