Senior Civil Engineer

Bouygues UK are seeking to recruit a Senior Civil Works Engineer to join us on a key mixed use development in East London.
Job Purpose and Scope:
- Assist with the construction of a self delivered concrete frame on a key mixed use development
Accountabilities and Key Tasks:
- Assist the Civil Works Manager in the delivery of self delivered concrete frame
- To manage the daily activities of subcontractors, in respect Of Health and Safety, Quality and programme
- To manage the costs associated with the works, and any variations should they arise in liaison with the Site Quantity Surveyors
- Assist Appointed Person with managing activities for one tower crane
- Critical analysis of design
- Assist with procurement of subcontractors for post completion works
- Assist with procurement of materials
- Monitoring costs as well as forecasting future costs
- Critical analysis of manpower hours
in charge of self-delivered concrete frame for one tower crane on block E&F, critical analysis of design, call-offs materials, organize and follow quality inspections, H&S follow-ups and reporting, costs expenditures monitoring and reporting, review of forecast of costs, manpower hours expenditure critical analysis.
Who we are looking for:
Essential Criteria:
- Civil Engineering degree or equivalent
- Civil works experience on a live construction site
- SMSTS
- Excellent management skills
- Excellent self organization skills and ability to organize others
- Priority management
- Knowledge of UK building regulations
- Ability to drive program
- High levels of quality standards
- Attention to H&S matters
- Ability to handle multiple tasks
