Security Concierge Supervisor - Nights

Bouygues Energies and Services currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Security Concierge Supervisor to join our Security Solutions team covering a key site in Central London.
This is a permanent shift based role working an average of 42 hours per week on a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern of NIGHTS ONLY working 12 hour shifts between the hours of 1900 and 0700.
The role:
- Reports to the Security Solutions Management team
- To be responsible for security integrity of a high-profile location in a fast and fluid environment
- To guard, patrol and protect, buildings, high value assets and VIP clients/visitors in accordance with the assignment instructions, working alongside the client’s in-house security team
- To remain vigilant and observant, challenging unescorted/unidentified visitors/contractors
- To monitor entrances/exits by patrolling and the use of surveillance equipment (CCTV) and fire and alarms systems as an intruder deterrent
- To ensure that access control, visitor monitoring and booking systems are complied with
- To plan, coordinate and be a point of contact for emergency evacuation procedures in response to security alerts/emergency situations, in accordance with agreed specifications
- To liaise with external authorities, where appropriate, to ensure that security is maintained at all times
- Working 42 hours per week, 4 on 4 off, from 19:00 to 07:00.
The person:
- SIA Security Licence and security system experience is essential
- Excellent knowledge and working experience in a high-profile security industry/customer focused environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people at all levels demonstrating confidentiality always
- The ability to act appropriately under pressure is crucial as you may be required to act in critical incidents
- A high-level client/customer focused approach and able to represent the Company in a professional and discreet manner always
- Level of fitness commensurate with required duties (patrolling, standing on designated posts)
- Driving licence, government clearance and a CCTV Licence desirable
