School Cleaner - PART-TIME HOURS - TERM TIME ONLY

Bouygues Energies & Services currently has exciting part-time opportunities for Cleaners to join our Facilities Management team at 3 secondary schools in Peterborough. These are permanent positions working part-time hours (details below), Monday to Friday.
The role:
- Reporting to the Cleaning Supervisor
- To carry out all cleaning duties such as mopping of floors, damp dusting, cleaning of basins, sinks and toilet areas, etc. at the School.
- To ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout the school
- Refilling of toilet rolls, hand towels and soap dispensers
- Removing rubbish to designated areas
- Assist with premises tasks
- Set up assembly hall and classrooms
- To be fully compliant with H&S, COSHH regulations
- Shifts available are as follows:
- Jack Hunt School - 1500 to 18:00, 15 hours per week, Mon-Fri (term time only)
- Ken Stimpson School - 1500 to 18:00, 15 hours per week, Mon-Fri (term time only)
- Queen Katherine Academy - 15:00 to 18:30, 17.5 hours per week, Mon-Fri (term time only
The person:
- Cleaning experience essential
- Happy to work outside as role involves litter picking external areas of the school in all weathers
- A flexible attitude along with excellent customer service skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Well organised with the ability to plan and prioritise your work
- Good knowledge of health and safety regulations and safe working practices
- Able to obtain DBS clearance due to working alongside children
