Bouygues Energies & Services currently has an exciting opportunity for a Receptionist to join our Facilities Management team at our client’s secure site in Gravesend.  This is a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week, from Monday to Friday, shift times alternate weekly - see details below.



The role:

  • Reporting to the Reception Supervisor
  • To provide an effective, proactive and professional reception service by meeting and greeting all staff and visitors in a courteous and welcoming manner
  • To answer the telephone promptly and deal with all first line enquiries
  • To effectively maintain visitor management systems ensuring all visitors are logged correctly whilst observing strict security procedures
  • To utilise the companies computer aided facilities management system
  • Hours for these posts are:
    • Week A: 32 hours per week, 15:00 to 23:00, Monday to Thursday; 8 hours between 07:00 to 17:00 Friday
    • Week B: 40 hours per week, 07:00 to 16:00, Monday to Friday with one hour unpaid lunch break

 

The person:

  • First class communication skills with the ability to communicate at many different levels essential
  • A team player with excellent customer service skills
  • Will have administration, organisational and problem solving skills
  • Must have a good working knowledge of IT with experience of using Microsoft Office
  • Will be flexible, reliable and motivated
  • Subject to security vetting by the Metropolitan Police
