Bouygues Energies & Services provide a comprehensive range of infrastructure solutions within the urban and inter-urban environment. We work across street lighting, smart city and smart motorway transport solutions.This includes Highway Lighting, CCTV, EV charge points, Wi-Fi systems, Energy Connections and more.

We at Bouygues are looking for Quality Engineer to work on our Connected Cities Project this role is a Hybrid role working mostly at home. The Engineer will be required to attend site office for Client Meetings.

Main Job Responsibilities:

To support the business by taking a leading role in developing and advising on the measures required to identify and control quality risks. To raise awareness within the business by communicating best practices. To undertake and complete audits ensuring that best practice and process and procedure are being followed and to lead on training of process and procedure through the implementation. To raise and monitor nonconformities and their resolution. Working alongside the other support services to the Project Delivery team to ensure that all Quality information is provided to the standard needed to produce reports for Internal and External au

Skills required for this role:

  • Previous experience in Quality Advisor positions in a similar sector
  • Have knowledge and understanding of construction techniques, so that Quality risk plans can be created, updated and managed through the project lifecycle
  • Excellent written, numerical, oral communication and presentation skills#
  • The knowledge and ability to create, review and / or revise policies that affect processes in the working environment always ensuring they align to company policies and procedures
  • Be able to identify risks in projects, and implement and manage risk management procedures and contingencies
  • Able to work as part of team with colleagues on the Contract and cross functionally with colleagues in other areas of the business
  • A keen eye for detail, with a methodical and process driven approach to work.
  • Relevant professional Qualifications and Accreditations
  • Knowledge of Highway and Civil Engineering; Construction practices and the quality management of these practices
  • HNC/D or Degree in relevant discipline
