Project Manager - 1 year FTC

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced M&E Project Manager to join our FM Projects team in Warrington. The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of building projects to budget, time and quality requirements. The role is being offered on a basis of 1 year fixed term contract with a possibility of extension or becoming permanent.
The main duties and responsibilities of the Project Manager will involve:
- Delivering FM project solutions to budget, time, and quality requirements
- Taking profit and loss responsibility for allocated projects; owning each project and delivery with a high degree of attention to design, construction, and financial detail
- Appointing, managing, monitoring and co-ordinating consultants and the on-site activities of all sub-contractors with regard to programme
- Ensuring that appropriate planning consents, CDM requirements, Method Statements, Risk and COSHH Assessments and Permits to Work are in place prior to work commencing
- Devising project plan and programme and co-ordinate all on-site activities
- In conjunction with Procurement Department colleagues, preparing documentation for schedules of rates, quotations, tenders, and term contracts
- Writing specifications and compile contract documentation
- Ensuring staff and contractors maintain the highest standards of health and safety, professionalism, and customer service at all times
The candidate will have the following skills, experience, and qualification:
- Experience of managing projects ideally within building services / M&E
- Experience of traditional contracting and design and build; design capability within specialism
- Must be qualified in a construction or building services related discipline at a higher technician or professional level. Project management qualification is an advantage
- Working knowledge of CDM regulations
- Able to demonstrate strong commitment to Health and Safety
- Highly organised with strong administrative skills
- Customer focused with excellent communication skills
- Dynamic and flexible with a can-do approach
- The successful candidate will be required to hold or attain Security Clearance
