Operations Manager
Bouygues Energies & Services Solutions - Bristol
Bouygues Energies & Services currently has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Manager to join our Facilities Management team based at a prestigious government body in Bristol and the West. This is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday.
The role:
- Reporting to the General Manager
- To facilitate Total FM activities for functional, technical and management aspects of the contract
- Ensure contract delivery in line with H&S, Quality Assurance, Environment Management systems and Finance to name a few
- Responsibility for all key performance indicators of the contract
- Development, implementation and updating of all planned maintenance regimes
- Ensure and be responsible for full statutory compliance
- Ownership of the financial performance for the northern sites against budget and procedures
- Manage and maintain all IT systems to keep them up to date
- Work alongside the project department to agree major works quotes with the client
- Communication with various departments to ensure all works / issues are dealt with
- Based in the West covering various western locations working 40 hours per week from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday
The person:
- Experience of working on, and managing, a total FM contract
- Experience of managing staff and the ability to address challenging situations
- Proven record of excellent customer service
- Proven experience of managing a team
- Excellent computer skills
- Experience of working in a governmental environment an advantage
- Previous experience of using a CAFM system
- To manage and be part of the on call rotation for the site
- Government clearance is a requirement of the role
