NICEIC Supervisor

Bouygues Energies and Services is a global contractor and currently the highways business unit has an exciting opportunity for a NICEIC qualified Supervisor to join a newly awarded street lighting contract which aims to replace 42,000 street lamps across Suffolk. The role will carry out both traditional supervisory duties along with acting as a key Project Coordinator.

The role

• To ensure that all work carried out on site is reviewed with the supervisor to ensure compliance and then uploaded onto the relevant systems
• To ensure all client queries are appropriately processed, recorded and resolved within the contractual timeframes
• Act as NICEIC qualified supervisor and oversee the management of all test certs submitted by operatives, quality checks on site of electrical works, approval and sign off of electrical test certs
• To liaise directly with clients in regard to works planning issues and then escalate to relevant supervisor or manager
• To undertake permit applications as per instructions from supervisors along with obtaining all relevant drawings for works
• To manage MIS systems to ensure that works are raised, closed and allocated correctly
• To build professional relationships with clients maintaining highest standard of customer care
• To attend client meetings as required and deputise for Project manager in their absence
• To produce monthly and quarterly reports for each relevant client
• To attend daily team meetings to establish key objectives for the day and raise any issues that may have come to light 

The person 

• Previous experience in a similar role
• NICEIC qualified supervisor
• Excellent written, numerical, oral communication and negotiation skills
• A keen eye for detail, with a methodical and process driven approach to work
• Ability to maintain multiple process systems to ensure document compliance
• Willingness to develop knowledge of the contractual and commercial processes
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight timescales
