Bouygues Energies & Services currently has an exciting opportunity for a Minor Works & Building Safety Manager to join our Facilities Management team at the Royal Hospital for Children & Young People based in Little France, Edinburgh.  This is a full-time permanent position working 40 hours per week from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday.

 

Key Activities:

  • Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager
  • Co-ordination of both the planned and reactive labour pool to complete activities on plan and where reasonably practical on time for Reactive SR.
  • Interrogate and manage CAFM system for distribution of PPMs to Engineers’ PDA’s in an efficient manner
  • Sub-Contractor co-ordination, generation and issuing of PTWs, reviewing and approving RAMS
  • AP / CP Leads for the contract for SHTM & Statutory Requirements and to provide the nominations for any other members of the team for presentation to Service Management
  • Lead for H&S Committee where any items are action planned
  • Working 40 hours per week from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday

 

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Must hold a recognised electrical or mechanical trade apprenticeship and/or relevant qualifications to level 3 (theory and practice) in a relevant electrical or mechanical discipline
  • Must have prior experience in a Supervisor or Foreman role on an M&E or FM Contract
  • Understanding of engineering building services installation and maintenance techniques
  • Qualified in BM Trada for various Fire Safety Roles
  • Will hold SMSTS and Project Management qualifications
  • Must have effective planning, organising and prioritising skills
  • Successful applicants will be subject to a DBS Check
  • Experience in a Healthcare or critical environment is preferred
