M&E Team Leader
Bouygues Energies & Services Solutions - Southwark - KCL
Bouygues Energies & Services currently has an exciting opportunity for an M&E Team Leader to join our Facilities Management team working at King's College London at two sites in Waterloo and London Bridge. This is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri from 08.00 to 17.00.
The role:
- Reporting to the M&E Supervisor
- To oversee the in-house M&E team, BYES Mobile Support team and specialist contractors
- To undertake PPM and reactive works ensuring that all jobs are completed in line with SLA’s, KPI’s and CPI’s
- To assist with the immediate and proper allocation of work and the completion of such work in accordance with the performance monitoring system
- Assist with the planning and organising of work for both direct and contract labour to ensure cost and time targets are met; to allocate and control overtime; to organise out-of-hours emergency works
- Ordering materials and services, maintain records, control stock, provide engineers reports, etc
- Assist with estimates, site measurements and cost control information; to identify chargeable works and ensure these are recorded appropriately
- Liaise with the client to resolve any issues
- To participate in the out of hours on-call rota
- Working 40 hours per week from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday
The person:
- Must have good knowledge of statutory compliance requirements for building and the work associated
- An understanding of inductions, permit to work systems and safe systems of work
- Good understanding of health, safety and wellbeing with the ability to perform tasks such as toolbox talks and training
- Has varied fabric skills including fire door checks and repairs, fire stopping repairs and shower accessory replacements
- Understanding of the Maximo CAFM system is desirable
- A proactive, flexible, can-do approach
