Bouygues Energies & Services Solutions Ltd currently has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Worker to join their team.

The main duties and responsibilities of the role will include: 

  • Reporting to the M&E Supervisor
  • To provide front line customer service support
  • To assist with handy-person and basic carpentry tasks including fabric repair and painting
  • To undertake maintenance technical duties that are within training and competence, both as planned and reactive works
  • Proactively and continuously undertake sweeps of the building, looking for service needs for customers, completing where within the project agreement of the Company and the Trust, escalating where outside of this
  • Order materials and services as needed
  • Working hours - 08.00 to 17.00 Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills, experience and qualifications: 

  • Will have experience of maintenance / building services preferably gained in a hospital environment
  • Will be proficient in painting and fabric repair and ideally have basic carpentry skills
  • Ideally be assessed as competent with respect to plumbing, mechanical and electrical specific interventions
  • Able to work within a multi-disciplinary maintenance team or alone
  • Able to use your own initiative and work with minimal supervision
  • Flexible with good customer service and communication skills
