We at Bouygues are looking for a Maintenance Operative & Night Scout in London

Main Job Responsibilities:

  • To carry out Night Scout across the Lambeth borough alongside Photometric testing to meet the contractual obligations of the PFI’s – in addition to supporting the Barnet and Enfield contracts where applicable.
  • To carry out monthly photometric testing on various streets within the borough of Lambeth during evenings/nights and providing cover for London Borough of Barnet and Enfield
  • To carry out monthly night-scouting of PFI assets within the borough of Lambeth and providing cover for London Borough of Barnet and Enfield.
  • To carry out maintenance duties – repair and maintain all PFI assets during evenings/nights
  • To ensure that all work complies with the appropriate legislation and contractual SLA’s
  • The accurate completion of documentation on both electronic devices or paperwork, and job sheets including other relevant documentation
  • To ensure that all company safety policies, procedures and instructions are adhered to and that all the necessary records and checks are maintained.
  • To ensure that all works are adequately protected and the safety of the workforce, public and vehicles is maintained at all times.
  • To fulfil Health adherence to the requirements of the Company's Health & Safety Policy and Health & Safety Management Plans & Safety responsibilities by
  • To comply with the Company’s Policies, Management Plans and Procedures
  • To undertake such other duties appropriate to the level and character of work as may reasonably be required within the Department / Service. Significant permanent changes in duties will require agreed revisions to be made to this Job Description

Skills required for this role:

  • Must be able to drive vehicles over 3.5t – hold a Class C1 Licence
  • Have skill set to carry out both reactive and routine maintenance
  • Mewp
  • Work at Height
  • External working on the highway
  • G39
  • Manual Handling
  • First Aid at work
  • IPAF 1B
  • Able to travel into Lambeth with the requirement to assist on the barnet and Enfield contracts
  • Registered as Maintenance Operative Fault Repair
  • General Knowledge of Photometric Testing
