Bouygues Energies & Services currently has an exciting opportunity for a mobile Maintenance Operative to join our Facilities Management team at a healthcare site in East Lancashire and covering other sites in the county as required.  This is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday from 8am to 4.30pm (30mins unpaid lunch break).

The role:

  • Reports to Lead Technician
  • To complete reactive/PPM tasks as allocated, ensuring that all associated paperwork and PDA records are completed in a satisfactory, accurate and prompt manner
  • To carry out general duties working on a small sewerage plant
  • To integrate and communicate with specialist sub-contractors and other technicians as necessary in various buildings
  • To carry out L8 monthly water monitoring and all routine maintenance of refuge points, disabled and general alarms
  • To carry out general duties such as litter picking
  • Working 40 hours per week from 08:00 to 16:30, Monday to Friday 

The person:

  • Must hold a full driving licence
  • Experience of working within a similar role in a healthcare environment is desirable
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Able to work on own initiative as well as within a team, with a proactive, flexible, can-do attitude
  • Willingness to carry out training to develop and progress
