Level 2 IT Support Analyst

Bouygues Construction IT UK currently has an exciting opportunity for a Level 2 IT Support Analyst to join our IT team. The role will be based on one of our major sites – Hinkley Point C in Somerset.
As a Level 2 IT Support analyst, your day to day duties will involve:
- Providing local and remote 2nd level support to corporate clients and users at HPC site in Somerset
- Working to SLA’s as set by the company by responding to support incidents on the phone, through email & via our internal ticket system within our service desk software, and face to face requests from site users
- Installing and configuring server hardware operating systems and applications
- Building and deploying desktop and laptop PCs and tablets using Microsoft OSD and SCCM
- To be involved in deployment of new site offices, where you will install, test & catalogue all the network infrastructure
- Escalating service incidents to the appropriate internal teams or external suppliers and following up
- Installation of varying technical software packages
- Ensuring that information about all asset movements are recorded in a timely fashion and accurately in the asset register
- Working as an effective team member, willing to take on all tasks and own responsibility
- Sharing information with the support teams by documenting procedures and ensuring that all teams are communicated the information
- Participating in other Project work as directed by Line manager & Project IT Manager
The ideal candidate will have the following skills, experience and qualifications:
- Experience of IT service desk in a Microsoft environment is essential
- Must have experience in PC / Desktop support including Windows 7 and 10, Server 2008/2012, MS Office 2013, Office 365, Active Directory, VPN’s
- CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation v3, Microsoft Cert, BTEC Level 3 IT Qualification or similar
- Good understanding of IPv4 networks including networking equipment and basic principles
- Well organised, able to prioritise workload
- Good communication skills
- Able to work autonomously and as part of the team
