We at Bouygues are looking for an Installation Operative in the Middlesbrough area.

Main job purpose: To work on the HIAB installing lighting columns

 

Main responsibilities:

  • Various ground works, column excavations, trenching, reinstatement etc   
  • Installation works – use of crane
  • Holds a Class two licence
  • To ensure company vehicles and plant are maintained in good To ensure that all works are adequately protected and the safely of the workforce, public and vehicles are maintained at all times ,working order and are clean and tidy via submission of daily check form via electronic means. 
  • To participate in any relevant training to satisfy the requirements of the position. 
  • Carry out maintenance duties to replace, repair and maintain all lighting assets as instructed by line management.  
  • To complete paperwork and maintain work packs   
  • To fulfil Health & Safety responsibilities by adherence to the requirements of the Company's Health & Safety Policy and Health & Safety Management Plans
  • To comply with the Company’s Policies, Management Plans and Procedures
  • To undertake such other duties appropriate to the level and character of work as may reasonably be required within the Department / Service. Significant permanent changes in duties will require agreed revisions to be made to this Job Description
