Bouygues Energies & Services is a leading Building Services and Facilities Management contractor and is part of global construction and industrial group. Due to a recent promotion, we have an opportunity for an Information Systems Support Manager within our UK IS department.

The IS Support Manager is responsible for managing and leading the IS Support Team in the deployment, delivery and support of appropriate, sustainable and efficient Information Systems to support our operational and commercial activities.

The main duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

  • To plan, manage and support the development and deployment of our infrastructure and software solutions in line with IS strategy and the requirements of the Business
  • Identifying infrastructure improvements and developments in line with industry standards
  • Undertake feasibility studies and cost benefit analyses
  • To ensure DR and BCP planning is accessible, appropriate and consistently reviewed to meet the needs of the business
  • Undertaking periodic reviews for potential threats, vulnerabilities, and weaknesses within IS provisioned services and those services associated with IS are managed and mitigated in line with business needs
  • Manage the team of Support and Database Analysts
  • Provide a consistent, measurable support service to our users
  • To meet the training requirements of our system users
  • Implement a robust training regime to support the current needs of the business
  • To participate in regular reviews with our internal and external partners, and the senior management team

The ideal candidate will have the following skills, experience, and qualifications:

  • Extensive experience of managing infrastructure and software solutions in a business-critical environment
  • Strong risk analysis skills, demonstrable analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to manage expectations, prioritise and deliver to deadlines
  • Experience with Maximo, Cognos, SharePoint or similar tools
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Awareness of Information Security
  • Experience of managing/delivering DR/BCP planning
