Head of Operational HR
Bouygues Energies & Services Solutions - Southwark
The role:
- Reporting to the HR Director
- Management of a team of HR Managers and Advisors including budgetary responsibility
- Recruit, select, motivate and develop members of the team to maintain and enhance operational effectiveness to facilitate delivery to the business
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and improve performance against corporate standard
- Act as a business partner to the company’s operational teams and provide appropriate advice on all human resources issues
- Support the business development activities by delivering the HR/TUPE components to bids
- Undertake ad hoc special HR project work and provide statistical information as required
- Liaise with the HR Project Manager on the mobilisation of new contracts, ensuring all due diligence and statutory consultation is complete
- Liaise with the recognised trade unions as necessary to ensure an effective partnership is maintained
- Undertake pay reviews for the FM delivery workforce
The person:
- Degree-level CIPD qualification or equivalent, or be qualified by experience, with in-depth knowledge of employment and case law
- Need to be an inclusive leader with ability to relate to others at all levels of the organisation
- Substantial experience in delivering effective employee relations
- Possess Excellent influencing skills
- Be a supportive manager who is able to bring the best out of their team
- A coaching style with the ability to upskill line managers
- Experience of dealing with Trade Unions and TUPE
- Experience of working in the FM and/or infrastructure sectors
- Be a Confident communicator with ability to deliver clear messaging
- Possess excellent influencing skills
- Maintain an ethical approach
