VSL UK are recruiting for a Grout Plant Operator to work on the prestigious HS2 project.
Key Tasks and Activities :
• Operating Grouting Plant on a busy HS2 site
• Adhere to working instructions as specified internally from engineers, project manager and supervisors.
• Follow all Health & Safety requirements
• Provide paperwork, namely, drillers logs, equipment inspection sheets, timesheets on a weekly basis for approval.
• Maintenance of drilling equipment, small plant and tools
• Operate the Grout plant to produce grout when required
• Ensure cleanliness of the equipment and that no grout can set
• Ensure no water gets to the Tunnel when washing
• Check cement and additives storage for quantity
• Control the pumps when grouting, make sure that instruction on the data logger are working and that data is recorded
Essential and Desirable Criteria:
Essential:
• Experience using Grouting equipment or similar
• CSCS card
• Experience working in a live construction environment
• CPCS
