Bouygues Energies & Services is a renowned FM service provider and part of Bouygues Construction, a multi-billion-pound company. We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a TFM General Manager to manage a multi service contract for UK Home Office Building which is also one of our largest PFI contracts.

Key Activities

  • Ensure the consistent delivery of robust, high quality hard and soft FM services through management of the operational teams for a multi-site contract
  • Facilitate delivery of key performance indicators and performance monitoring data prescribed on a contractual basis, ensuring that operational monitoring mechanisms are accuratePromote and implement BYes FM corporate strategies, especially in the context of financial performance (profitability, overhead minimisation, positive cash flow, improved financial ratios, etc.)
  • Quality Assurance requirements, Health & Safety good practice and statutory compliance
  • Exercise strong financial and commercial controls in the management of expenditure and income within agreed budgets. Implement initiatives for increasing productivity and efficiency, with the target of maximised profitability of operations and delivering incremental cost savings over time
  • Be responsible and accountable for contractual performance in line with approved budgets, key performance indicators, performance monitoring systems, output specifications and contractual requirements. Be responsible of the reduction of KPI deductions by 50% within 6 months
  • To achieve a safe environment and practices for clients, staff and others while on the site premises, ensuring compliance with Company and legislative requirements, including all Health & Safety requirements and Permits to Work procedures.
  • Provide ad hoc support to the Development department through benchmarking cost/performance data, technical expertise and good references
  • Continually enforce cost efficiency initiatives, and strategies for service delivery improvement and client/end-user added value
  • Manage closely the Statutory, Mandatory and Routine performance of the contract with clear reporting and demonstration of Statutory & Contractual compliance

Skills, qualifications and experience

  • Demonstrable experience in managing TFM contracts including mobile engineering 
    service delivery in both the public an private sectors with a minimum contract value of 
    c.£2m p.a.
  • Strong people management skills, including the ability to influence change
  • Experience in the use of key performance indicators, performance monitoring systems
    and IBM Maximo CAFM
  • Facilities Management Qualification to ONC / HNC in a relevant discipline
  • Track record of working effectively in a customer-focused environment and experience in 
    the development of new business opportunities across the FM sector
  • Knowledge of the commercial aspects of an FM contract

Desirable

  • Member of RICS, CIOB, BIFM or similar
  • Working knowledge of BiC’s Standards and application across multi-use sites
  • Experience of the Investors in People standard
  • Engineering qualification to ONC / HNC in a relevant discipline
