Facilities Manager
Bouygues Energies & Services Solutions - West Hampstead
Bouygues Energies & Services currently has an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Manager to join our Facilities Management team working at an educational institution in West Hampstead (on the Finchley Rd). This is a permanent role working 40 hours per week, to be worked from Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.
The role:
- Reporting to the Contract Director
- To effectively manage all services within the site, delivering high quality Hard and Soft FM services as specified within the Contract
- To formulate suitable strategies to meet the demands of service provision and ongoing improvement to enhance business and revenue growth
- To produce an overall contract budget and be responsible for actual performance, taking remedial actions when applicable
- To maximise profitability of operations and deliver ongoing cost savings
- To maintain the contract performance monitoring system and be accountable for monthly performance
- To actively promote the development of professional codes of practice in line with organisational needs
- Working 40 hours per week from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday
The person:
- Prior experience in managing a Hard and Soft services contract in an education environment is essential
- Excellent customer service skills with a strong client focus
- Financial acumen with a strong understanding of budgets and budget planning
- Technical knowledge to allow identification of possible site issues (boilers, electrical faults etc.)
- Good working knowledge of statutory requirements
- A team player with strong motivational and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of CAFM systems, in particular Maximo is desirable
