Facilities & Services Manager
Bouygues Energies & Services Solutions - Gravesend
Bouygues Energies & Services currently has an exciting opportunity for a Facilities and Services Manager to join our Facilities Management team based at a police training site in Gravesend on a 6-12 month maternity cover contract. This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week from 08:00 to 17:00. Monday to Friday.
The role:
- Reporting to the Contract Manager
- Responsible for key areas of the contract and services, which includes Cleaning / Housekeeping, Security and Catering
- Deliver high quality services by applying professional expertise and management
- Provide support to the Senior Management Team including production of monthly monitoring / performance reports
- To provide client facing service support through meetings and remote communication
- To exercise financial and commercial controls against agreed budgets
- To provide reports for both internal and external use e.g. performance, financial, H&S, etc.
- Ensure full engagement of staff through regular team briefs and to manage staff pay and conditions in accordance with Company HR
- To recruit, develop, manage and motivate staff to ensure the highest standards of customer service
- To manage staff within remit, participate in training staff, ensure delivery of toolbox talks to staff and create, update and communicate procedures.
- Working 40 hours per week from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday
The person:
- Management experience within soft FM services
- Will ideally hold a qualification in facilities management
- Previous managerial experience of a PFI contract including the HR aspects such as absence management, etc.
- Sound IT skills
- A proactive, flexible, can-do approach
- Good communication and relationship building skills to include first class customer service with people at all levels
- Successful applicants will be subject to Metropolitan Police security vetting
