Bouygues Energies & Services currently has an exciting opportunity for a Facilities & Services Manager to join our Facilities Management team working at Sutton police station.  This is a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

 

The role:

  • Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager
  • Responsible for key areas of the contract or services, which includes Police Support Staff, Cleaning and Building Maintenance
  • Deliver high quality services within the contract by applying professional expertise and management along with compliance against the contracts planned and reactive maintenance requirements
  • Co-ordinate subcontractors and service providers, ensuring all services are delivered in accordance with the contract and client requirements
  • Provide support to the Senior Management Team (SMT) including production of monthly monitoring / performance reports
  • To provide client facing service support through meetings and remote communication
  • To exercise financial and commercial controls against agreed budgets
  • To provide reports for both internal and external use e.g. performance, financial, H&S, etc.
  • Ensure full engagement of staff through regular team briefs and to manage staff pay and conditions in accordance with Company HR
  • To recruit, develop, manage and motivate staff to ensure the highest standards of customer service
  • To manage staff within remit, participate in training staff, ensure delivery of toolbox talks to staff and create, update and communicate procedures.
  • Working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with flexibility to deal with issues outside of core hours as required.
  • May be required to cover other MPSEL sites

 

The person:

  • Proven track record within maintenance/Facilities Management
  • Experience managing staff and subcontractors
  • Will have sound IT skills and be able to communicate with people at all levels
  • A proactive, flexible, can-do approach
  • Successful applicants will be subject to Metropolitan Police security vetting
