Senior Engineer
Location: Nationwide, UK (Travel and accommodation provided)
In alignment with our expansion VSL Solutions (UK) seeks an experienced Senior Engineer to fortify our recurrent business. Our portfolio spans throughout the UK, demanding the successful candidate to geographically flexible.
About VSL UK: Distinguished for our expertise in post-tensioned, cable-stayed structures, foundations, and ground engineering, we play a pivotal role in designing, constructing, maintaining, and upgrading substantial engineered structures, consistently emphasizing performance, safety, and longevity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Active participation in the execution phase of a construction project.
- Lead a section or subsection of the project.
- Collaboratively determine technical, financial, and human objectives.
- Assist in meticulous construction preparation and work with site supervisory personnel.
- Engage in supplier & subcontractor consultations and selections.
- Ensure work execution aligns with the project's contract.
- Participate in monitoring progress schedules and implement modifications under the guidance of the Senior Site Engineer.
- Uphold site staff management, ensure Health & Safety compliance, manage resources, and liaise with clients on schedules and quality.
Required Skills:
- Demonstrable leadership, coordination, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.
- Solid technical acumen and a keen sense of cost control.
- Methodical, authoritative, vigilant, objective, persistent, and accountable.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
