Document Control Manager

We have a great opportunity for an Autodesk Document Control Manager to join our highly successful Energy business; primarily supporting our solar farm projects.
Bouygues Energies & Services design, install and commission large scale solar PV farms for our clients. Supplying renewable energy from solar power plants enables local communities to reduce costs and reduce their carbon footprint. It also means they can provide off-grid power in remote areas that can be sold back to the grid or used locally at a cheaper price than grid-supplied energy.
The Document Control Manager will lead the implementation of Autodesk on all new projects and its integration with other software packages. Above all we are looking for someone who is a very detailed orientated individual given our Energy businesses main ethos is to deliver a high-quality product or solution for all our clients.
Key Activities
- Become the Super User of Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) software and Administrator of other legacy Common Data Environments (CDEs)
- Receipt and issue of project documentation within the CDE
- Liaise with our in-house designers and external subcontractors to expedite documents and ensure compliance with document control requirements
- Create and set-up new project databases in ACC
- Create new document control procedures for all projects (based on existing template)
- Provide training and technical support to Energy Team members and external parties in the use of ACC
- Provide essential support for project delivery in line with the Bouygues E&S Solutions Integrated Management System
- Maintain accurate reporting on documentation progress to support the project schedules
- Collate information to assist Energy Team in preparing key project document packs, i.e. Pre-Construction Information, Health & Safety File, Operation & Maintenance Manual
- Managing handover of documentation to clients for timely project closeout
- Work towards building the Energy Team’s alignment with BIM standards and ISO 19650
- Support in adherence to the company Quality, Environmental & Information Security Management Systems to ISO9001, ISO14001, & ISO27001 respectively
- Provide assistance with setting up new employees with the correct equipment and systems: laptops, mobiles, user profiles etc
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Experience
- Document Management experience within an engineering or construction industry sector
- Strong understanding of Engineering, Procurement & Construction project lifecycles, and how Document Management contributes to the successful execution of projects
- Experienced in use of Autodesk Construction Cloud software
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of document, data & information management practices and procedures
- Collaborative skills and experience in multi-disciplinary teams
- Knowledge of Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes and supporting tools, technologies and standards, including ISO 19650
