We are looking for Design Managers and Senior Design Managers with a solid design management background and a robust understanding of the related process and management of information.  You should have a focus on residential / mixed-use schemes and expect to work on some of our London based projects.

Some exposure to working within a pre-construction environment is preferred but not essential, however a problem solving mindset will be invaluable.  You will need excellent organisational abilities, communication and people management skills and be able to work autonomously whilst keeping a strong team ethic.

Job Purpose and Scope:

You will possess an understanding of the application of design management, BIM and document control processes to ensure the highest quality of design aligned with the programme.  You will be expected to develop a deep understanding of all Bouygues processes from the outset.

Accountabilities and key tasks:

As part of the Design Management team you will report to the Design Lead and support them in their role with particular importance being placed on:

  •  
  • Design Review and appraisal (including identifying and mitigating design risks).
  • Consultant appointment, scope of services development and management of the appointment.
  • Management of the Lead Designer and design team.
  • Design programme.
  • Information Management.
  • Third party submissions (e.g. Building Control, Planning / Development Control)
  • Adherence to design management process
  • Commercial awareness.
  • Seeking and applying lessons learnt.

Who are we looking for:

Essential criteria:
