We have a newly created role for a Data Analyst and this opportunity is seen as a pivotable position for our future in terms of data management. You could help to shape the direction and growth of this role. Based at our King’s Cross site, the former St Pancras Hospital.
Job Purpose and Scope:
You will be involved in collecting, processing and analysing data relating to various business functions, the role will focus on data in various construction projects particularly around design and production information.
You need to demonstrate a strong desire to develop your career in analytics and will get the opportunity to develop your skills whilst taking ownership of projects. You will work with a wide range of stakeholders, gathering requirements and providing key insights which will be used to make key decisions and implement changes.
Essential
- Microsoft Office 365; particularly Excel and Power Query
- Microsoft SharePoint
- SQL
- Microsoft Power BI and DAX
- Microsoft Power Automate
- Degree in a related field like maths, statistics or computer engineering/Or equivalent
Accountabilities and key tasks:
In general, the day-to-day activities of a data analyst may include but not limited to the following:
• Communicating with stakeholders to understand data content and business requirements (liaising with non-technical team members)
• Using data mining to extract information from data sets and identify correlations and patterns
• Performing statistical analysis of data
• Using tools and techniques to visualise data in easy-to-understand formats, such as diagrams and graphs
