Criminal Exhibit Officer (part-time)

Bouygues Energies & Services currently has an exciting opportunity for a Criminal Exhibit Officer to join our Facilities Management team working at the police station in Sutton. This is a permanent part-time position working Mon and Tues from 8am to 5pm.
The role:
- Reporting to the Facilities and Services Manager
- To receive and record all items of property requiring safe storage as well as retrieval of the items when requested in a timely fashion
- To ensure that the stores are kept clean and tidy at all times and to make arrangements with officers to destroy or dispose of stored items which are no longer required
- To ensure strict adherence to MPS property manual and procedures
- Working 16 hours per week Monday and Tuesday only, from 08:00 to 17:00, with a one hour unpaid lunch break
The person:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with a diligent customer service attitude
- Will have excellent record keeping and problem solving skills
- Able to work independently and in a proactive manner, with the ability to manage own time to ensure activities are completed within agreed time frames
- Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures
- Subject to security vetting by the Metropolitan Police
