Bouygues Energies and Services currently has an exciting opportunity within our Security Solutions Team for an experienced Corporate Security Officer to join our Facilities Management team at an educational building in West Hampstead.

This is a permanent role working 55 hours per week from 11.30 to 22.30, Monday to Friday.

Flexibility would be an advantage as there may be the requirement to work other shifts, often at short notice.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your career within security by gaining experience in a highly professional and corporate environment with many other opportunities existing across our wider Security team for an individual looking to further their career.

 

The role:

  • Reports to the Security Manager
  • To guard and patrol the ESCP site, undertake front of house duties, escort visitors, etc.
  • To ensure access control, visitor monitoring and booking systems are complied with
  • To monitor entrances and exits by patrolling and the use of surveillance equipment
  • Be the first point of contact in the event of an incident or emergency
  • Working locations will vary so flexibility is required to meet the needs of our client at sites across the Central London area
  • Working 55 hours per week from 11.30 to 22.30, Monday to Friday

 

The person:

  • SIA Security Licence; a CCTV licence would be an advantage
  • A flexible and enthusiastic approach to work
  • Good oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people
  • Good knowledge and working experience in the security industry
  • A level of fitness commensurate with required duties (patrolling, standing on designated posts)
  • The ability to act appropriately under pressure is crucial as you may be required to act in critical incidents
  • A client/customer focused approach in order to represent the Company in a professional manner at all times
  • Driving licence, Government clearance and security systems experience would be a plus
