Commissioning Manager - Solar Energy
Bouygues Energies & Services Solutions - Southwark
We are currently looking to bring on board an experienced Commissioning Manager to join our growing Renewable Energy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the commissioning of large scale solar PV farms across the UK.
The main duties and responsibilities of the Commissioning Manager will involve:
- Review design and procurement
- Produce all the commissioning documentation, including programme and test procedures
- Manage all the commissioning activities required within a large solar farm project (from HV connection to modules and also auxiliary systems such as CCTV, active management system, SCADA, etc.)
- Manage G99 requirements
- Manage interface activities with ICP
- Facilitate transition from construction phase to operations & maintenance (O&M)
- Support contract negotiations (technical schedules) for new tenders
- Build and manage a team of commissioning experts with BYES
The ideal candidate will have the following skills, experience and qualifications:
- Must have previous experience of commissioning large scale Solar PV farms
- Knowledge and experience of G99 and HV
- Solar PV operations & maintenance experience (O&M)
- Flexible approach with the ability to travel across various sites within the UK and working away from home
