Chief Transformation Officer

As part of our ongoing commitment to business improvement and innovation Bouygues UK is creating a new role to champion innovation and business transformation. Reporting directly to the CEO and part of the Bouygues UK Executive Team the Chief Transformation Officer will be the focal point and bring together the various innovation and improvement projects from across the business, with a key focus on driving operational innovation and excellence. The Chief Transformation Officer will work with other support and operational departments coordinating projects designed to best support our business operations. A challenge and skill required will the ability to work through key stakeholders creating networks to influence change and drive innovation.
Key areas of focus will include:
· Develop and implement the BYUK Operational Excellence strategy and road map, identifying key areas of improvement and coordinate programmes to improve efficiency and productivity
· Coordinate the review of and amendments to current processes in order to simplify them, drive efficiency and provide a competitive advantage. There will be a particular focus on site based activities
· Develop, manage, monitor and implement the BYUK’s digital strategy in line with organisational values, objectives and priorities, and in coherence with the Group transformation plan. Coordinate and foster deployment of our digital initiatives on sites (BIM, Office 365, Data Management and Artificial Intelligence)
· Develop programmes to implement transformational change which will enable the organisation to deliver better performance. Connect transformation with business priorities and performance through measurement
· Create and support an environment of innovation and best practice, ensuring the use of technologies for the benefit of stakeholders and employees, focused on the business priorities. Provide leadership to the innovation network
Profile & Requirements:
· Likely to be a Senior Manager with a strong knowledge of construction operations, with a good understanding of construction processes and key challenges
· Ability to shape high level and cross functions vision and set priorities
· Passionate about change, innovation, digital
· Data-centric and performance driven
· Strong focus on collaboration with an open-mind and the ability to influence, facilitate and connect with people within the Bouygues network and further afield
· You consider the bigger picture when it comes to people, digital and data, putting the user experience at the core of your work
· Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with people at all levels and adapt to the situation
· Resilient and unphased by challenge
