Business Improvement Manager
Bouygues Energies & Services Solutions - Southwark - Becket House
Bouygues Energies & Services has a great opportunity within our QSE department for a Business Improvement Manager to oversee Lean and other business improvement activities. The role will be based from our UK HQ in London Waterloo, however this is a hybrid working environment and you will only be required to be in the office 3 days a week.
The role:
• Support the identification of actions that will aid process simplification and sustainable improvement in the
Management System and methods in which the business and people work
• Working with Process Owners in setting audits, reviewing feedback and updating policies, procedures and
actively promoting ways of working and efficiencies. Developing projects and campaigns to raise awareness’s
• Measure, monitor and report upon team and business KPIs, as directed, to determine their effectiveness.
• Advising and supporting the business in the area of Business Continuity Management. Including the
consultation and engagement of businesses and risk owners to identify critical products, activity and services
documented through risk assessments, BIAs and BC Plans.
• Assist the Head of Business Improvement in harmonising and simplifying the management system, ensuring
on-going triple certification to ISO 9001, IS0 45001, ISO 14001.
• To carry out duties allocated by the Head of Business Improvement that are aligned to improvement of the
Management System, Business Improvement and Business Continuity Management. As required liaising with
multiple areas and departments within the business.
• Designing and implementing an ongoing regime for inductions into the management system and ongoing
training throughout the business.
• Assist with Management System, Business Improvement and Business Continuity Management related PQQ’s
and pre-qualification requirements within each respective business unit.
• Ensure Management System, Business Improvement and Business Continuity Management performance data
is recorded measured and evaluated with reports issued to the business.
• Ensure accurate monthly reviews and reporting in the business units including annual management reviews
being carried out as per ISO9001, ISO45001, ISO14001.
The person:
• Change management, lean and project management qualifications
• Experience and track record in Business Improvement, Management Systems role (2 years +)
• Confident using MS Office software
• Excellent communication skills
• Good analytical sense, knowledge of how to analyse data and create dashboards / reports
• Great organisational skills and the ability to work on a range of activities at once
