Position Summary:

As a Business Development Specialist, you will be at the forefront of our sales activities, playing a pivotal role in identifying and validating potential client/project leads within the UK construction industry. Position Requirements:

Skills: Comfortable in working independently to meet targets, exceptional organizational and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Comfortable presenting to individuals at all levels.

Work Experience: Previous experience in a sales support or business development, showcasing a clear interest in technical solutions in the construction industry.

Essential Job Functions:

• Identify prospective clients and target projects, establishing qualified leads.
• Introduce technical services, demonstrate solutions, produce quotes, and diligently follow up.
• Support UK sales and operational/technical teams on major project bids.
• Collaborate with the UK marketing team to ensure all materials are up to date and relevant.
• Engage in social media activities and company announcements.
• Attend local and national networking events, fostering new relationships.
• Maintain an organized project filing system.
• Handle sales administrative responsibilities, including scheduling client meetings, conferences, and preparing technical offers.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with new partners.
