VSL International (UK) have an exciting opportunity available for an Administration Apprentice to be based from our site offices in Rickmansworth. You would be supporting our team who are working on the KVJV joint venture project. 

The KVJV is a Joint Venture between Keller Limited and VSL Systems (UK) Ltd, a Member of Bouygues Construction contracted on the LOT C1 – ‘Chiltern Tunnels and Colne Valley Viaduct’ for High Speed Two (HS2) Limited.

Job Purpose

To provide administrative support to the Team Administrator and Administration Assistant and other KVJV management staff. 

Responsibilities

The Administration Apprentice will be responsible for:

  • Respond to emails in a professional way
  • Execute clerical and general office duties such as maintaining and updating spreadsheets, setting up new starters on a bespoke database and other administrative tasks for special projects as requested
  • Coordinate deliverables such as office supplies, PPE etc
  • Travel bookings e.g., flights, hotels, and car hire
  • Manage speeding fines
  • Booking meeting rooms
  • Notifying Align of our visitors

Skills & Experience    

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Good communication skills both verbal and written
  • Good knowledge of IT skills
  • Evidence of team working skills
  • Good project management skills
  • An ability to take initiative
  • An ability to find solutions
  • An ability to work in a team environment and independently
