Shape the Future with CWA! Become a BIM Manager on the Sizewell C Project

I’m thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity to join the Civil Works Alliance (CWA) as a BIM Manager. As we embark on the ambitious Sizewell C project, your role will be instrumental in defining and developing digital systems and processes that align with our client’s and the CWA’s digital strategies. Sizewell C will generate low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes, securing a cleaner energy future for the next 60 years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and maintain the digital strategy for the Marine and Tunnelling (M&T) Portion, including the BIM Execution Plan.
  • Ensure compliance with client and CWA digital strategies.
  • Lead the development and implementation of the Common Data Environment (CDE).
  • Manage a team of information managers and BIM technicians to support design development and project information models.
  • Coordinate with interfacing stakeholders and ensure alignment with SZC Digitalisation, Data & Information Management Strategy.
  • Drive "digital by default" ways of working and oversee the delivery of relevant initiatives within the Engineering and Design function.

What We're Looking For:

  • Hands-on experience with BIM delivery for large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Practical working knowledge of ISO19650.
  • Strong background in 3D/BIM management, spatial management, and design change management.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • A deep understanding of infrastructure project delivery processes and challenges.
  • Preferably some experience in the nuclear sector and a keen interest in construction industry improvements and digital technologies.
