The Role:
An exciting opportunity to join an experienced BIM team working on a variety of Residential projects. Reporting to the Business Unit BIM Manager, the role is task specific supporting the implementation and coordination of the Project BIM Execution Plan and delivering BIM uses. The primary role for the coordinator will be to manage the Clash Avoidance and Builders Works Processes defined for the project(s), this will include but is not limited to the following tasks;
-Ensuring the model collaboration/sharing processes are functioning as planned
-Model Quality auditing
-Run clash detection reporting (in Navisworks)
-Coordinate and manage the clashes through Revizto - support the consultant Design Team and project staff.
-Attend design coordination meetings with Design Manager and assist in issue resolution through the models
-Report on clashes, design issues including builders works and also report on model quality
BIM RESPONSIBILITIES
-Support the BIM manager in all activities.
-Undertake the project BIM uses.
-Support implementation of project wide BIM modelling standards.
-Support project team on BIM tools and uses.
-Prepare statistics for including in project reports
-Undertake clash detection exercises as required.
-Manage the Builders work coordination process to ensure design team adherence to process
-Review and report on all BIM outputs from the project team
-Implement project wide BIM modelling standards.
-Identify / undertake training needs when require.
-Undertake modelling exercises in Revit to assist the site team
Who we are looking for:
Essential
-Revit Modelling experience and in depth knowledge
-All round knowledge of construction industry and processes, Architectural, Structural, MEP & Quantity Surveying.
-Excellent all round technical knowledge in particular Revit and Navisworks
-Excellent presentation skills.
-Good spoken and written English.
-Ability to organize and manage own workflow.
-Ability to work autonomously.
-Capability and experience with working in diverse environments, cultures and people.
