Join our Preconstruction team in Bristol as a Bid Coordinator!
Bouygues UK is looking for a creative and highly organised individual to play a crucial role in crafting our tender submissions. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your creativity and coordination skills in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Job Purpose and Scope:
The Bid Coordinator will be responsible for helping the Bid Team plan, coordinate and prepare bid documentation, from project approval launch to tender submission and post tender interview.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Support the pre-construction team to deliver outstanding submissions to challenging deadlines.
- Manage the Bid Deliverables Matrix for all stages of the submission and ensuring that project deliverables are met.
- Plan and manage bid documentation throughout the tender process and ensure that outputs are delivered efficiently and effectively.
- Produce high quality submissions document using Adobe InDesign.
- Produce high quality presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Work closely with the bid teams to ensure deadlines are adhered to.
- Work closely with other departments in the business to include commercial, external and internal communications and business development functions.
- Support Bid Managers and response authors with research as required.
- Understanding of the business and the values of the organisation.
- Investigate and propose new ideas and methods for bid and marketing purposes.
- Provide creative input into bid submissions and marketing materials in coordination with Bouygues UK’s brand and site guidelines.
- Support the Submissions Manager in team development and ensuring that team resources are kept up-to-date.
- Maintain regional project case studies and CVs for use in bid submissions.
About you:
- Experience in Adobe In-Design, Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Capability in Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Sharepoint.
- The ability to interpret large amounts of information from many sources to produce outstanding and engaging documents in a timely and efficient manner.
- Excellent time management, organisation and attention to detail.
- A good team player and communicator who is able to work with all levels of the organisation.
- A good level of English including spelling, punctuation and grammar.
