Assistant Management Accountant
VSL - Southwark
VSL International (UK) are looking to appoint two Assistant Management Accountants to work alongside our CFO, offering financial assistance to our senior management, engineering and various projects teams, with the role based in our Head Office in Waterloo, London.
The scope of work will include assisting and supporting the Chief Finance Office with a range of tasks summarised in the list below:
Accountabilities & Key Tasks
- Perform general administration tasks including IT requests, scanning letters, placing orders for laptops/phones, completing credit forms
- Manage the organisation charts for SAP and authorising access rights (GRC requests)
- Assisting in the preparation of the monthly management accounts.
- Coding the monthly recharge files (expenses, salary, phone and other back charge files)
- Establish a monthly follow-up of the reinvoicing to the JV (FVH) and to make sure re- invoicing of the BIS accounts.
- Raising invoices for projects and processing sub-contract invoices
- Discrepancy management
- Raising manual payment requests
- Helping staff with the new Concur system
- Assisting with the preparation of the cost control for projects.
- Creating contracts in SAP and updating the contract/EOS value.
Qualification(s):
Relevant degree in Finance or Accounting

- Good knowledge of SAP and MS Office
- Accounting knowledge

- Patience & Perseverance
Desirable
- Experience in discrepancy management / cost control would be a plus
- Knowledge of BW would be a plus
