Apprentice - Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability

Bouygues UK are offering a great opportunity to join an apprenticeship scheme, gaining experience with our Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability team. You will be working on one of our flagship projects Oriel (Moorfields Eye Hospital), the new 39,500m² hospital being built in the King’s Cross area at the site of the former St Pancras Hospital. On completion of the apprenticeship scheme you will have achieved a NVQ Level 2 or 3 based on your existing qualifications in Business administration
Job Purpose and Scope:
You will be working with the Social Advisor on the Oriel Project, helping to develop and deliver Bouygues UK’s Social Value Strategy. You will be supporting the Social Value team in the delivery of the Oriel program that build Bouygues UK’s reputation and help improve staff engagement with the Camden / Islington borough.

- Corporate responsibility and sustainability expertise
- Prior experience of working with charities
- Team player with positive, enthusiastic and collaborative approach
- Good communication skills
- Good Microsoft TEAMS, and 365 abilities
Accountabilities and key tasks:
- To help build relationships with local stakeholders and community groups as required
- Support the Social Advisor and site teams in delivering their employability and skills Section 106 targets
- Assist the team in the preparation of the Considerate Construction Scheme visit preparation
- Support the wider BYUK Social Value team with the coordination and rollout of any ad-hoc Corporate Responsibility programs
- Participate in Bouygues UK Staff Volunteering program and support the Oriel team in participating in community events as volunteers
- Assist in updating the monthly trackers and recording specific KPI data from relevant departments for all Social Value reporting
- Assist the Oriel team in participating and planning of any charitable events on site
- Assist in the planning and implementation of onsite teambuilding events
- Issue and communicate Good News Stories to the Oriel team
- Update the Social Value input into Bouygues UK knowledge sharing platform
- Assist the BYUK communications team in preparing content for internal / external communication about the Oriel project
