Axione (part of the Bouygues Group) is currently looking for an experienced Administrator to join our team based in the Eurocentral business park, Motherwell, Scotland.

Axione is rapidly becoming a key contractor in the UK fibre telecommunications sector, focusing specifically on FTTP/FTTH network infrastructure installation and upgrade projects.

About the job 

To assist the project site teams with their day-to-day duties.

Responsibilities 

•    Maintain the traffic management system (Aurora) including checking open and close notices submitted by subcontractors, and running the reports
•    Assist in collecting the information required for civils stats packs (civils drawings)
•    Provide support in obtaining client and customer information including verification of data provided by subcontractors, checking the design and build systems, and ensuring that the information is accurate 
•    Support Wayleave and Consents Advisor, liaising with landowners to obtain written agreement for access  
•    Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning, ordering IT equipment, and taking accurate minutes of meetings
•    Organise travel arrangements when required 
•    Greet and assist visitors to the office
•    Ensure the Company Health and Safety safe working practices are observed at all times
•    Comply with Company Policies and Procedures
•    To follow the Company's Equalities Policies in relation to other staff, customers and members of the Group, at a level appropriate to the post.

In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed above, the job holder may be required to perform other duties assigned by their line manager from time to time, outside the normal sphere of work as may be reasonably requested.

The job holder will be required to undertake such flexible and additional working hours as may be necessary, within reason, to facilitate the efficient fulfilment of the duties required by position.

Essential and Desirable Criteria:

Essential

•    High standard of written and spoken English
•    Good MS office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook)
•    Good written and verbal communication skills.
•    Ability to prioritise workload according to demanding deadlines
•    Able to act on their own initiative 

Desirable

•    Experience of Document management systems in particular 4P 
•    Experience in construction/ telecom 
•    Local to site
